Head of Business Development (f/m/d)

Permanent employee, Full-time · Berlin HQ / Remote

Your mission
  • Build up a Business Development team for the German market from scratch, which will be responsible for Dropp's entire topline growth
  • Define Dropp's ideal customer profile, build up a funnel of prospective B2B customers and close them
  • Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships with other logistics companies, SaaS companies or marketing agencies
  • Build up a network of eCommerce and logistics players and maintain a close relationship with existing customers
  • Plan and set up sales campaigns in close collaboration with the Marketing team and carry out sales analyses
  • Strive for continuous improvement and look for new and innovative ways to increase customer acquisition through strategic growth initiatives
  • Lead your team in a performance driven way, always being guided by relevant KPIs such as revenue growth, customer retention and customer growth
Your profile
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a top-tier Consulting company or a Business Development, B2B Sales or Partnerships team, preferably in an eCommerce or Tech start-up or scale-up 
  • You are empathetic and actively listen to others, trying to understand their pain points to provide solution-oriented support 
  • You come with an entrepreneurial mindset and an uncompromising customer obsession
  • You are fluent in German and English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are an absolute team player and you have a passion to lead and develop your team members further

Dropp operates hyper local warehouses in the heart of German cities to provide same-day delivery within 3 hours, scheduled delivery and scheduled returns. We deploy our own fleet of riders with e-cargo bikes to ensure on time and environment friendly deliveries.
