Your mission
You are responsible for the day-to-day running of our largest city base in Berlin-Mitte. Your main responsibilities are:
Lead a local team of city base shift managers, riders, and warehouse associates through fostering personal development, instruction, daily supervision, active and transparent communication, regular one-on-one meetings, and providing support of all kinds.
Be the first point of contact for operational questions of your city base.
Communicate with various stakeholders, including shift managers, suppliers, landlords, recipients, neighbours.
Monitor and steer daily processes (i.e. receiving of supplier deliveries, putaway, picking, packing, delivery, returns) and improve them continuously.
Be accountable for city base performance and achieving operational KPIs.
Solve unexpected problems independently.
Pick & deliver orders.
Help define best-in-class warehouse layouts, processes, systems and management practices together with the operations team.
